剧情简介
Kyle Cooke is a kin d-hearte d you ng boy and a gifted baseball player. W hen his father, Ted, is laid off and forced to tak e a low-level job in a new state just to ma ke ends meet, Kyle and his family are uprooted from their fortable suburban lifestyle. Ted hopes that Kyle& # 39;s accli mation w ill be made easier once h e gets involved w ith t he local teams but those plans are quickly dashed when Kyle bees th e vict im of bullying and nepotism. Realizing Kyle will never get a chance to p ursue his dream of playing in the twelve-year-old World Series if he stays in the local league, Ted finagles a way to get Kyle on a tea m in an oppo sing district. Kyl e, un derstanding this is his one and only shot, uses the dejection of being cut from his town's all-star t eam as motivation to be e the best twelve year-old player in the state - possi bly the wor ld. Ultimately, he faces his former team in the state championship where he discov ers a greatness he didn't ev en know he possesse d.
